As a consumer, you trust us with your information and we value your business and privacy. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what data is collected by Horus Vision, together with its parent company, affiliates or subsidiaries (collectively, “Horus”), why we collect it, and what we do with it. Please review it carefully.
Privacy
When a customer uses any tool within our suite of technologies, including, without limitation, our website, live chat tool, product warranty registration form, social media accounts and the Horus Ballistics App (collectively, the “Platform”), the Platform will create data about the use that is specifically traceable to that customer, particularly if the customer creates an account or contacts us via email, text message or other forms of electronic communications sent through the Platform.
Collection and Use of Customer Information
We collect and use customer information, such as: (i) your name, email address, shipping and/or billing address, phone number, etc.; (ii) purchase information and purchase history; and (iii) profile and account data (if applicable), such as username, password, customer data and purchase information, etc. [1]
Generally, we use the collected data to conduct our business and to provide you with the best possible products and to enhance existing features, services and experiences. Under limited circumstances, we may share information with third parties who provide services to us or who work with us to offer products and services online. We may also share your information with our parent company, affiliates and subsidiaries.
We may also periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think our customers may find interesting, using the email address which you have provided.
Security
Although information transmitted through the Internet may not be perfectly secure, and we are therefore unable to guarantee the security of your personal information, we have implemented a number of technical and procedural steps to help safeguard the information you share with us when you visit our Platform. Furthermore, we encourage you to take additional steps to help safeguard your personal information, such as:
- Using complex passwords;
- Not sharing your password with others;
- Not using the same password on more than one website;
- Password protecting your computer and mobile device; and
- Logging off of your website session, especially when using a public computer.
Updates to Our Privacy Policy
We may periodically update our Privacy Policy, and will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website.
Effective Date: 10/24/2019
1 We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Should we learn that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our database.
Advertising measurement and Google Ads
With your advertising consent, we use Google Ads enhanced conversions to help understand whether our advertisements lead to purchases. On the order confirmation page, your email address is normalized and converted in your browser into a one-way SHA-256 hash before it is shared with Google for this purpose. Google can match that hash with information associated with signed-in Google accounts to measure advertising results. Hashing does not make the information anonymous.
You can allow or decline advertising through our cookie preferences and change your choice later using Manage Website Data Collection Preferences in the footer. Declining advertising does not prevent you from shopping or placing an order. We also honor a supported Global Privacy Control signal for this matching feature. This measurement does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
